Farm Credit Foundations centralizes HR services between Farm Credit employers. By acting as a single employer, they provide increased value for 10,000 employees. Farm Credit Foundations’ vision is to be a trusted partner delivering unrivaled excellence in HR services.
Farm Credit Foundations had two existing websites on an aging platform. They saw an opportunity to identify areas for improvement before selecting a new platform. I worked with nine stakeholders to prioritize ideas to improve the user experience of the site. From that list of priorities, I was able to recommend a specific, actionable plan to overcome the challenges.
I worked with the Foundations team to develop a survey to identify how the existing site was being used, and what pain points existed for existing users. Survey respondents from each of the user types were recruited for one-on-one interviews. These interviews were used to further discuss their usage of the site and to observe them interacting with the site while performing particular tasks.
Armed with this information user flows and interactive wireframes were created and tested to refine the new flow of the site. Upon approval a new front-end was designed for the site.
