Lapp needed to update their e-commerce presence. Their previous site was antiquated and not meeting their customers’ needs.
With a limited UX budget and no access to actual users, maximizing budgeted time was crucial. At the onset of the project I ran a UX workshop to gather as much information from key stakeholders as possible. Through the course of the day we went through exercises to learn about the different audiences, the various pain points that existed, as well as their wants and needs. From here I developed personas and user flows to make sure we were all on the same page as to the issues we were trying to solve, as well how we could potentially get there. Several rounds of interactive wireframes were completed to map out the structure, flows and content areas of the new site. A new design was created based on approved wireframes. I delivered HTML and CSS for the unique page templates to be created in Kentico by the development team.
